SUBJECT:   FNM – Colorado Association of Conservation Districts (CACD) 65th Annual Meeting

TO:  All Colorado Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) Employees

PURPOSE:  To inform and solicit participation 

EXPIRATION DATE:  September 30, 2010

This bulletin provides guidance for District Conservationist attendance at the upcoming Colorado Association of Conservation Districts (CACD) Annual Meeting November 16 – 19, 2009, at the Beaver Run Resort in Breckenridge, Colorado. A “DRAFT” agenda is attached to this bulletin and additional information about the meeting can be found at http://www.cacd.us/.

Previous guidance has required that at least one board member be in attendance in order for the District Conservationist to attend. For Fiscal Year 2010, I will be lifting that requirement and I encourage all District Conservationists to participate in this meeting.

If you wish to attend, please follow these instructions:

• Inform your Area Conservationist and provide your name, title, duty station, and an estimate of cost to either your Area Administrative Coordinator (field) or Cyndee Hjelmstad (State Office only) by October 26, 2009;
• Send a copy of your completed registration form to your AAC (registration form is attached);
• Make your hotel reservations as soon as possible; and
• Area Administrative Coordinators need to complete the “Meeting Approval” form (attached) and submit to Cyndee Hjelmstad by close of business October 30, 2009.
