The Beaver Watershed is located in Northeastern Colorado in portions of
Adams, Arapahoe, Elbert, Lincoln, Morgan, and Washington counties. The watershed
includes approximately 465 farms on 544,297 acres. The watershed is in an area which contains Colorado's highest population of animal feeding
operations including poultry farms, hog farms, and dairy farms. The area
also produces many crops including hay, corn, wheat, sunflowers, barley, and
