The Pawnee Watershed is located in Northeastern Colorado in portions of Logan and Weld counties. The watershed includes approximately 529 farms on 327,118 acres.  The watershed is in an area which produces many crops including hay, corn, wheat, sunflowers, barley, and dry beans. The area also has a high population of Colorado's animal feeding operations including poultry farms, hog farms, and dairy farms.
