About the Upper White Watershed

The Upper White Watershed is located in Northwestern Colorado in portions of Garfield, Moffat, and Rio Blanco counties. The watershed includes approximately 127 farms on 178,784 acres.  The watershed is in an area which produces a variety of crops including dry beans, oats, barley, wheat, and hay; and hosts animal feeding operations including cattle, hogs, and poultry farms.
