Colorado  Changes in Urban Acreage 1982 - 1997

The NRCS Colorado National Resources Inventory (NRI) showed changes in urban acreage between 1962 -1997.  In 1962 urban areas took approximately 771,000 acres. This number increased to 919,000 acres in 1987, and 1,067,000 acres in 1992.  The 1997 NRI found that urban acreage increased to 1,182.000 acres.

This number increased to 919,000 acres in 1987, and 1,067,000 acres in 1992.  The 1997 NRI found that urban acreage increased to 1,182.000 acres.
